Every user in the iVent platform will have their own profile to manage and complete for the event. Completing your event profile will help you find more and better connections in the event, it will help exhibitors in the event to follow up with you and it creates an overall better experience for everyone. We advise all attendees to complete their profiles as much as possible to take advantage of the event and networking opportunities. See our guide below on what each item in your profile means.
How to access your profile
Accessing your profile is very simple, and can be done either when you login before the event is live in which case you will land on your profile editing page straight away. Alternatively, once you are logged in you can go to Settings icon in the top right corner > Your Profile > Edit Profile.
Once you have updated your details, they will show up on your profile page like this one. Sections underneath your profile picture will be updated if you have filled out those fields and additional details will appear in the About Me section.

Uploading a Profile Picture
Upload straight from your computer or phone by clicking on the small camera icon in the bottom left hand corner. You can edit your profile at any time by clicking on “Your Profile” in the settings icon at the top of your screen.
About You - An introduction to tell others in the event about yourself.
CV (if applicable) - Your CV may display if you have uploaded this as part of registration.
Facebook - This is where you can add a company Facebook page, this cannot be used with personal Facebook profile pages.
Twitter Embed Code - You can add your Twitter feed into your profile through embedding, simply go to https://publish.twitter.com/# and create a link to place in that field.
LinkedIn Public Profile - Enter the URL address featured on your LinkedIn profile, please note that LinkedIn profiles are not embeddable but a link to your page will take your visitors to your LinkedIn profile.
Password - Forgotten a password or want a new one? Passwords can be changed here. Passwords must meet minimum security requirements and if you enter a password that does not, they system will let you know what you need to change.
Email Subscription Status - You can choose to receive email notifications when you are sent a message or when new content is uploaded – select Subscribed or Unsubscribed. Please note that this may also affect some important platform email notifications. We would advise to keep the status to Subscribed during the duration of the event to make sure you don't miss anything important.
